1. Cleaning Your Piercing
- Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your piercing.
- Gently wash your piercing twice a day with mild, fragrance-free antibacterial soap using clean fingertips—do not use washcloths or sponges.
- Rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry with a clean, disposable paper towel—avoid cloth towels as they can harbor bacteria.
- Use a sterile saline solution or piercing aftercare spray 2–3 times a day for additional cleansing.
2. What to Avoid
- Do not twist, turn, or remove the jewelry while it’s healing.
- Avoid swimming in pools, lakes, or hot tubs until fully healed.
- Stay away from harsh chemicals like alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or ointments—they can slow the healing process.
- Do not sleep directly on your piercing to prevent irritation.
3. Healing Times (Average)
- Ears & Nose: 2–4 months
- Oral Piercings: 2–3 months
- Navel & Nipple: 6–9 months
- Healing times vary depending on your body and aftercare routine.
4. Signs of a Problem
- Persistent redness, swelling, or severe pain may indicate infection.
- Contact us or a healthcare professional if you notice unusual discharge or prolonged irritation.
5. Jewelry Changes
- Only change your jewelry after the piercing is fully healed.
